Welcome to My New Creative Hub

If you’ve followed me online for a while, you know I’ve always been a little… extra when it comes to Instagram. For years, I’ve split my creativity into separate pages—photography here, dance videos there, design services somewhere else—because I wanted each passion to have its own space. (Why not right? It kinda makes sense.) But here’s the truth: this approach stopped serving me—and you.
So many of you have told me, ‘I want to support you, but bouncing between accounts feels like homework!’ And honestly? I get it. We’re all overwhelmed by endless tabs and doom-scrolling feeds. Even worse, I started letting my pages gather dust because juggling them all left me stretched too thin. I got burnt out and social media wasn’t a priority for me after a while.
That’s why I’m done with the ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ approach. I’m launching Jonokafo.com—a single hub where all my work lives. No more guessing which account to follow, no more half-abandoned projects. This is where my creativity (and your time) gets the focus it deserves.
What can you expect to see on this blog? Plenty of what already goes on in my life offline will now be shared here. Any dance classes I teach, behind-the-scenes videos of any photoshoots I work on, conversations with fellow creatives (like interviews and podcast episodes), my thoughts on recent films and television shows I watch, and maybe even a few of story time posts about what goes on in my world.
That’s right, I’m not holding back anymore either about myself. I’m spilling all the tea on here! Now, obviously I’m not going to air out all my dirty laundry or spread gossip. My goal is to share more about my experiences in the creative professional settings I navigate to help you through your own journey. I’ll make sure to maintain the mystery and make sure you walk away with some valuable words of wisdom. However, I won’t hold back how I feel about what I’ve experienced.
That’s a promise.
Pertaining to this new website, I’m offering three main pillars of content—my creative projects and services (including photoshoots, client work, concept videos, and more), this blog where I talk about it all, and my digital store where you can purchase wearable and decorative art designed by me. As you can see, I want to offer more than just my creative services. I want to give you something to read, something to wear, and potentially something to do. Sometimes people don’t want or need certain services, but still want to support and be a part of a greater community. That’s what I want to build with you.
I’m no longer doing all this alone. You’ll get to learn all about my super talented friends, my wonderful clients, and creative team members will also be a part of the ride. (That’s right, don’t be shy guys!) We have been working together for years now on plenty of projects that haven’t been given the proper exposure it deserves. I’m going to make sure to change that. And of course, I’ll also have you to walk along with me on this journey.
