Who I am:
Welcome to my website! My name is Jon. I’m a photographer, dance choreographer, and creative director. I consider myself a lifelong student of the creative process. My work is based on my belief that the best projects come from discovery and exploration, not just performance. Something I’ve learned from working with actors, models, and dancers before I even picked up a camera. In my spare time, I write about creativity and commerce on my blog, host conversations with other artists on my podcast, and make up new dances with my friends. Right now, I’m building my new company, OVA Productions (Okafo Visual Arts). Through this new brand, I serve business owners, founders, and professionals at pivotal career moments to help reinvent their image. Headshots are where most people start working with me, though our work often extends into video, events, and portraits which I also offer services for.
