Photography and Videography
Booking Process & Policy
Booking Process:
Bookings are scheduled through my contact page. Once you reach out, we’ll hop on a phone call to discuss details about your session. Providing ample information in your initial email is strongly encouraged. If you need assistance with your booking, I offer 1-hour creative consultations to design and enhance your shoot experience.
Invoice & Deposit:
You will receive an invoice via e-mail to purchase photography, videography, and additional services by Jon Okafo Photography. By purchasing our services, you agree to the Booking Policy and the Photography Service Agreement including model release and liability waiver. A non-refundable, 50% deposit is due upon receipt of the invoice. Remaining payment is due after the end of your session or event.
Payment:
Your payment covers your scheduled booking and post-production editing. Additional services are available for purchase and will be billed separately. Additional services do not require a deposit and are non-refundable. Additional edited images purchased after your session will be billed separately.
Video Services & Event Coverage:
I’m offering new services in addition to photography including videography for photoshoots, creative projects, and event coverage. You may receive edited recap videos showcasing the progression of the shoot, creative videos showcasing your talents, skills, and style, or Q&A videos to showcase your personality. Additional video snippets may also be included for your personal content needs. Event coverage & videography services may require additional fees, waivers, and equipment rentals depending on venue and shoot requirements.
Travel, Logistics, & Lodging:
Travel and hotel fees must be discussed before booking confirmation will be included in the initial booking invoice. Certain add-ons must be requested one to two weeks before your session date (e.g. props, backdrops, studio rentals).
Outdoor Locations & Inclement Weather
Open public areas that don’t require permits are always the best if you’re looking for something affordable. I often use areas like parks, rooftops, museums, and gardens. Client is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits to film at locations that require them. This typically includes permits from the city or state, neighbor permissions, and possibly copyright clearances for background music. If the weather isn’t ideal on the day of your session, I’ll reach out and check whether or not we should reschedule.
Studio Rentals:
Local studios are available for your shoot and will incur a rental fee. Studios rental must be purchased at least two weeks in advance to ensure your access to the space.
Post-Production Editing & Digital File Delivery:
24 to 48 hours after the session, clients will receive a digital gallery to select images for editing and retouching. Delivery of images and video files via flash drives are available upon request. Turn around time for editing and retouching is five to seven business days after selections have been made. Unedited images and videos are not available for purchase.
